As a native Oregonian and a Portlander, David grew up with the luxuries of the great northwest. Whether skiing Mt. Hood, rafting the Deschutes, or camping on the coast, an outdoor adventure was never more than a short drive away. A 'city boy' at heart, it was easy for him to take these opportunities for granted.

For The Next represents a new found perspective for David. As a father, he sees the world not just as childhood memories or an ever changing present, but as a future promise to his three children. With global climate change, disappearing habitat, and rising pollution, that legacy is not what it should be. David has begun to take initial steps toward a more sustainable future by reducing consumption, opting for a bus pass instead of a parking garage, and buying local produce. Moreover, this personal change has served to bring about a greater understanding about our impact on the world and the realization that meaningful change won't happen unless we all do something about it.

For The Next combines David's passion for collaboration, love for online experiences and embodies his wish for a better future for his children. David has a BA in Graphic Design from Portland State University.
